Vicky’s dad and my dad have been best friends since they were kids. I have lots of memories with her. From swimming in the pool all day long during the summer to the big family trip we did together in 2010 to Lake June. We STILL talk about how much fun we had! 

Time has flown by and now we’re all grown up with our own families. Vicky married Thomas, who is a wonderful dad and the nicest guy and they have a cutest little girl named Jade. 

Thomas is in the military and he’s stationed at Fort Drum. Vicky wanted these memories since Thomas was coming down to spend a few weeks with them since Jade is scheduled for surgery today. Jade was born with VSD, which is a congenital heart defect.  It stands for ventricular septal defect which means she has a hole in the septum of her heart which divides the bottle half of her heart. Today is the day she gets that fixed! 

I hope and pray that Jade has a successful surgery, that recovery goes great and that you and your families have beautiful photos to look at while you wait for her!
